Beyoncé Wore a Chic Polka-Dot Minidress on Date With Jay-Z in London
On Friday, Beyoncé and Jay-Z stepped out in London, where she’s launched the UK leg of her wildly popular Renaissance World Tour. The superstar posted a series of photos from the hotel as she and her husband headed out for a date night.
Beyoncé was wearing a minidress with a dramatic collared off-the-shoulder neckline and a slight train that wrapped around one leg. The black dress was studded with large diamond rhinestones that gave off a polka-dot effect from a distance. She was carrying a purse bejeweled with the same stones and had her hair down in honey-gold waves. She was wearing glossy pink lipstick and shimmering purple eyeshadow. On her feet were a pair of open-toe black platform heels.
Jay-Z was wearing all black, with a long coat over a button-down and black slacks, plus a pair of black sunglasses and white sneakers. In the pictures, he smiles with admiration at his wife.
The couple recently made news when they purchased a $200 million Malibu home, which TMZ reported is composed of 30,000 square feet and breaks the record for the most expensive real estate ever sold in California. The previous top listing was for $177 million. The house was designed by award-winning Japanese architect Tadao Ando and was initially listed for $295 million.
The house is set on an eight-acre bluff with gorgeous views of the Pacific Ocean. The Paradise Cove area is sometimes called Billionaires’ Row. It was originally built by art collector William Bell, and it took about 15 years for the concrete structure to be completed. Concrete is Ando’s signature design material.
The couple also bought a mansion in Bel-Air for $88 million in 2017 and have since invested enough in its upgrades to make it worth around $100 million.
