Whether you're dedicated to your Irish heritage or a corned beef sandwich is as close to you get to Gaelic pride, there's no denying that St. Patrick's Day is certain to be a fun day of celebration. Over the years, in addition to shamrocks and leprechauns, the holiday has become synonymous with some rather technicolor beverages—and it's not the better for it. Fortunately, there is a better way to get festive on March 17—simply mix up one of these St. Patrick's Day cocktails. From tipples featuring Irish whiskey to sips where the green is far more than food coloring-deep, these are the best cocktails to toast sláinte to.
Irish Whiskey Maid
Ingredients
2 oz Jameson Black Barrel Whiskey
1 oz fresh lime juice
.75 oz simple syrup
3 slices Japanese cucumber, muddled
2 fresh mint leaves and cucumber slice for garnish
Instructions
In a shaker glass, combine whiskey, lime juice, simple syrup and cucumbers and muddle together. Add ice and shake vigorously. Fine strain into a rocks glass over a large ice block. Garnish with fresh cucumber and mint sprig through the middle.

Green Mary
Ingredients
1 oz Ketel One Family-Made Vodka
3.5 oz freshly juiced, equal parts of celery and cucumber
.5 oz freshly squeezed lime
1 pinch each of rock salt, pepper, cinnamon, nutmeg and dried chili flakes
Instructions
Add all ingredients to the glass, stir well, add ice. Garnish with a salted cucumber slice
Gaelic Grasshopper
Ingredients
1.5 oz Kerrygold Irish Cream Liqueur
1 oz Teeling Irish whiskey
.5 oz Creme de Cacao
.5 oz Brancamenta
Instructions
Shake lightly and strain over crushed ice. Garnish with mint and shaved chocolate.

Saint Casa
Ingredients
1.5 oz Casamigos Añejo
.5 oz Crème de Mure
.25 oz agave nectar
Top off with Guinness Beer
Instructions
Combine all ingredients into tin shaker except Guinness. Add ice. Shake vigorously for 8–10 seconds. Fine strain into coupe glass. Top off with Guinness. Garnish with 2 fresh blackberries through skewer with edible green & gold glitter over on top.

Ingredients
2 oz YaVe Tequila Jalapeno
.5 oz triple sec
1 oz lime juice
.75 oz green juice
.5 oz simple syrup
Instructions
Coat the rims of your glasses in salt and lime zest. Add all ingredients to a shaker with ice. Shake and strain over fresh ice. As a finishing touch garnish with a lime wedge and clovers.
Irish Negroni
Ingredients
1 part Red Bush Irish Whiskey
1 part herbal aperitif (such as Campari)
1 part sweet red vermouth
Orange peel
Instructions
Combine ingredients in a rocks glass. Add ice and stir until combined.
Kale Cocktail
Ingredients
1 oz kale juice
1.5 oz tequila blanco
.5 oz cucumber juice
.75 oz ginger beer
.25 oz simple syrup
.5 oz fresh lemon juice
Instructions
Mix all ingredients in a shaker tin, add ice and shake. Double strain over fresh ice. Garnish with Bolivian pink salt
Emerald Elixir
Ingredients
2 slices of cucumber
5 basil leaves
8 mint leaves
1.5 oz Absolut citron
.75 oz St Germain/Elderflower liqueur
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz sugar syrup
Instructions
Muddle cucumber, basil, and mint in a shaker tin. Add other ingredients with ice, shake hard, and double strain.

Ingredients
1.5 oz Knappogue Castle 14-Year-Old Single Malt Irish Whiskey
.75 oz lemon juice
.5 oz cinnamon syrup*
.25 oz Apricot liqueur
2 oz organic apple juice
4 dashes Angostura Bitters
Instructions
Build in a cocktail shaker, whip shake briefly with a handful of pebble ice, and strain into a rocks glass
*Cinnamon syrup: Combine 2 cups sugar with 1 cup hot water and stir well to dissolve. Let this sit overnight with 4 cinnamon sticks. Strain and seal in an airtight container and keep in the refrigerator.

Ingredients
1.25 oz Tarquins Gin
.75 oz Absenteroux Vermouth
.5 oz Luxardo Bitter Bianco
.25 oz Seedlip Garden

Instructions
Add ginger beer to bottom of rocks glass. Combine remaining ingredients in a shaker tin over ice, shake, and strain into glass.

1.5 oz Kilbeggan Irish Whiskey
1 oz hot coffee
.75 tsp brown sugar
Whipped cream
Instructions
Combine all ingredients in a heat proof mug and top with whipped cream.
Drambuie Green Street

1.5 oz Drambuie
1 spicy ginger teabag
3 oz cucumber juice
.5 oz lemon juice
Sweetener to taste
Instructions
Infuse one tea bag in up to.5 cup of Drambuie for 1 hour. Remove bag squeezing out excess. Combine all ingredients in a tin and shake. Double strain over fresh ice. Garnish with a lemon wheel.
