Angelina Jolie made a rare public appearance Thursday night to attend the opening night of The Outsiders on Broadway—a show Jolie produced with the help of daughter Vivienne Jolie-Pitt.
The actor embodied Old Hollywood glamour with her look for the evening, one composed of a burnt-orange cape layered over a silky gold dress. She continued the warm tones with a pair of strappy merlot-red peep-toe heels and sculptural gold earrings. Angelina also carried a black leather clutch. As for glam, she kept it timeless with a black liner and a bright red lip; her hair was down in natural waves.
The Maleficent star was accompanied to the opening night and the after-party that followed by daughter Vivienne and son Pax Jolie-Pitt. Vivienne embraced the workwear trend in a dark gray boiler suit and light gray Converse sneakers.
Pax, meanwhile, looked cool in a black blazer with a velvet collar, layered over a long white T-shirt and paired with black slacks and white Converse sneakers. He accessorized with his go-to silver chain which hung low on his chest.
The three made their way to New York City hotspot Cipriani for the bash, where they were joined by cast members, artists, and industry stars, including Alicia Keys.
The Outsiders on Broadway is a musical based on the classic 1967 novel by S.E. Hinton. Angelina spoke to People about what it was like producing the show with her 15-year-old daughter. “She’ll correct me. She’ll say, ‘Didn’t you read the memo? We have to do this, we have to go through this,’” she said. “She’s been a really tough assistant. She takes it very, very seriously.”
Pax has also shown interest in the arts; the 20-year-old directed a backstage video of his mother for a magazine shoot last year, and is currently helping her run her sustainable fashion brand Atelier Jolie.
