'American Idol' Star Noah Thompson Is “So Excited” Over His IG News With HunterGirl
Noah Thompson and HunterGirl are taking their friendship to the next level and headlining a tour together.
Since ending their time on American Idol together, the ABC show's latest winner and runner-up have cheered each other on as they’ve embarked on new musical careers. The self-proclaimed best friends have continued performing together across the U.S. and are now teaming up for a handful of events this upcoming fall. Noah wasted no time sharing the news with American Idol fans on his Instagram.
“@huntergirlmusic and I are going out on tour!” he wrote on August 24. “These shows are gonna be awesome y’all. I am so excited to go out with one of my good friends and can’t wait to see everyone there.”
HunterGirl (whose real name is Hunter Wolkonowski) shared a similar message on her own Instagram. The duo will make several stops along the way, including Ohio, Illinois, Kentucky and more.
“So excited to go on tour with one of my buddies, @noahthompsonmusic !!” she captioned the same promo poster. “I can’t wait to be on the road with my band, and have the chance to play new music that will be coming out soon. These shows are gonna be so much fun, and I hope to see y’all there! 🤠.”
Reacting to their joint career news, American Idol fans immediately started celebrating in the comments section. “Awesome! Salute to the DYNAMIC DUO! @huntergirlmusic,” one person wrote. “Love seeing the 2 of you doing it your way!!!!!!!! Keep spreading the joy!” another added. “Where do I buy tickets 😍😍,” a different fan said.
Most recently, Noah and HunterGirl performed at an event in Missouri. By the looks of a recent TikTok, it seems like they're up to their usual social media antics again, reminiscent of a previous boots video. We wouldn't be surprised if they posted other funny clips from the road soon.
