Our mind is still reeling after Oprah Winfrey’s tell-all conversation with Prince Harry and Meghan Markle. Still, that didn’t stop the media mogul’s BFF, Gayle King, from dropping even more truth bombs about the royal family.

Earlier this week, King shared more updates about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex during an episode of her talk show CBS This Morning. “Well, I’m not trying to break news, but I did actually call them to see how they were feeling,” she said.

So, where does Prince Harry stand with the royal family? And did anyone—we repeat, anyone—speak to Markle after her emotional plea? Here, three shocking things we’ve learned since the candid interview, thanks to Gayle King.

1. Prince Harry has talked to his dad and brother

After Prince William made a public statement, many royal aficionados were left wondering whether the brothers had cleared the air. King confirmed that Prince Harry has since reconnected with William and their dad, Prince Charles.

King said, “Harry has talked to his brother and he has talked to his father too. The word I was given was those conversations were not productive. But they are glad that they have at least started a conversation.”

2. No one contacted Meghan Markle

Despite Markle’s shocking revelation about the royal family’s comments regarding Archie’s skin color, no one has bothered to reach out to the Duchess of Sussex. At least not as of earlier this week. “No one in the royal family has talked to Meghan yet at this particular time, and I think it's frustrating for them to see that it's a racial conversation about the royal family when all they wanted all along was for the royals to intervene and tell the press to stop with the unfair, inaccurate false stories that definitely have a racial slant,” King added.

3. Meghan Markle has the receipts

Surprisingly, Markle reportedly has proof to back up all of the claims she made during her sit-down. “Meghan has documents to back up everything that she said on Oprah’s interview,” King explained. “Everything.”
