Bala, the Los-Angeles-based company created by the husband-and-wife team Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevitz, appeared on a 2020 episode of Shark Tank, and since then the brand has grown exponentially. At first all five sharks wanted in on the company, but the couple ended up accepting a $900,000 deal with Mark Cuban and Maria Sharapova.

As a set of two, the weights come in a small zipper pouch to easily pack in your workout bag whenever you need a boost to your routine. While each of the weights are only one pound, they really do add significant resistance to even the smallest of moves. Because the weights easily attach with Velcro, they can be adjusted to fit any size wrist or ankle, and since they are so comfortable to wear, you won't even realize they're there after a few minutes.
