Whether you want a little extra weight for circuits at the gym or for your own at-home workouts, Bala Bangles are some of the chicest wrist and ankle weights, and you wouldn't believe where the company got its start.

Bala, the Los-Angeles-based company created by the husband-and-wife team Natalie Holloway and Maximilian Kislevitz, appeared on a 2020 episode of Shark Tank, and since then the brand has grown exponentially. At first all five sharks wanted in on the company, but the couple ended up accepting a $900,000 deal with Mark Cuban and Maria Sharapova.

As a set of two, the weights come in a small zipper pouch to easily pack in your workout bag whenever you need a boost to your routine. While each of the weights are only one pound, they really do add significant resistance to even the smallest of moves. No matter your favorite workout activity, whether you love yoga, running, aerobics, walking, core training or dancing, the Bala Bangles are the workout accessory you didn't know you needed that'll put you to work, too.

Instead of limiting your motion for certain moves with dumbbells, the Bala Bangles allow you to have a comfortable added resistance without restricting you to using only dumbbells. And for inspiration on how to use your new Bala Bangles at home, you can check out some of the brand's workout videos here.

Because the weights easily attach with Velcro, they can be adjusted to fit any size wrist or ankle, and since they are so comfortable to wear, you won't even realize they're there after a few minutes. And if they get dirty or you want to sanitize them, you can easily wipe the weights down with yoga mat cleaner.

Available in multiple different colors, you can shop them at Nordstrom, Athleta or straight from the Bala site. Bandier is also currently having a major clearance sale on the limited-edition rainbow bangles!
