There was a time when Prissy the pooch was living on the street alone and had lost all hope in survival. That is, until she was rescued by the Conway Area Humane Society.

Ever since, Prissy has been living her best life. She has been loved and cared for by the workers at the shelter.
Recently, she was recovering from a routine spay surgery when one of the workers, Chrissy Ireland, realized Prissy was in pain. That's when Ireland laid down in the kennel to comfort the recovering pup.
The shelter manager, Debra Cameron, took a video of the sweet scene and posted it to Facebook.
Cameron says moments of compassion like this happen often at the shelter, even though they aren't always captured on video.
Fortunately, this instance was shared with everyone who needed a little pick-me-up in their day.
The best part is the video proves Prissy now knows what it's like to be loved and can put her experience on the streets behind her.
