15 Things I'm Buying From West Elm's SECRET Online Outlet

I love West Elm and have bought various pieces from the retailer over the years, including this drinks side table and bathroom vanity. The brand is known for its midcentury modern-inspired look and many of the items are timeless, making them a great fit for any home. As an avid fan who always browses the site for new finds and deals, you can imagine my surprise when I discovered that there's a West Elm outlet section online. While I knew the retailer had outlet stores across the country (I just went to one in Industry City, Brooklyn, to search for pendant lights), I didn't know West Elm also had an online outlet.

SHOP WEST ELM'S ONLINE OUTLET

It's kind of hidden on their website, so if you're also like, wait, what?? allow me to explain. Go to the sale category and hover over it. Alll the way to the far right, you'll see a section called Open Box Outlet Deals. When you click into it, you'll be brought to a section where items, from sofas and coffee tables to mirrors and rugs to bedding to candles, are all on major discount. Like the name implies, this section offers on-sale items that were opened and then returned, so some items may show moderate use or not arrive to you in their original packaging. All the pieces in your West Elm order will be there, though, so don't worry about getting a damaged-beyond-repair product. I found bedding for as low as $17 and rugs for $126, so even though all sales are final, the discounts are totally worth it. Plus, if you know what West Elm item you want and don't want to pay more for it, this is low-key the only section you'll want to shop—don't even bother with the new arrivals page.

Since there are seemingly endless products in the Open Box Outlet Deals section, I spent about an hour scrolling through the page to curate 15 products I think are worth buying. Through the outlet, though, you can configure your own sectional to your liking for as little as $850. Cushions are reversible, giving you more flexibility to change up the look and hide away stains.

When you tweeze your eyebrows or wing out that eyeliner, you'll need a mirror close up, and this is our pick. The downside to buying expensive toys and furniture for your children is that they will outgrow it quickly, or accidentally break it. So when we happen upon a marked down item, like this water table, that is useful but not after a certain age, we can't help but think it's a steal. This table allows your kids to splash and mix water (or any liquid) with mud, sand, dirt—whatever their heart desires—for hours.

Pure Metal Lantern Collection

Flameless pillar candles can look a bit cheap and plain on their own, but put them inside a glass vessel like these floor lanterns and they'll look 10 times more expensive. You can buy multiple of these to place around your front door or by your outdoor sectional to create warm ambient vibes.

Cocktail Picks

These gemstone cocktail picks are sold out everywhere, so when we spotted them as part of West Elm's outlet deals, we had to alert martini lovers everywhere. They come in a pack of six, and you can use them to pick up cheese or as a place to hold olives or an orange peel for cocktails.

Anton Single Bathroom Vanity

Bathroom vanities are expensive, so if you want to save big, definitely check out the outlet section for options. This one comes in a cool wood tone and can accommodate almost all faucet styles, making it a no-brainer to get if you have a modern home.
