Kiersten Rich, aka The Blonde Abroad, is a California girl who left a career in finance to become a world traveler (yes, she's living out all our life goals)! But don't let the "blonde" stereotype fool you because Kiersten certainly has it all together -- and from our point of view, she's only getting better.

Well, Istanbul is just as unbelievable as I had hoped. Inside the Blue Mosque (built in 1616) there are over 20,000 handmade ceramic tiles! ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• With less than 24 hours to explore Istanbul, I joined @walksofturkey for their "Istanbul in a Day" tour. We covered 13 miles, visited markets, took a boat along the Bosphorus Strait and even climbed a few rooftops. Have you ever seen a red lagoon?! Laguna Colorada in Bolivia is a salt lake that gets its color from red algae. It's also speckled with hundreds of a rare breed of nearly-extinct pinkies known as the James flamingo!
