Levi's Stadium, home of the 49ers, to be awarded Super Bowl 60, per reports
Levi's Stadium is going to be a busy place in 2026.
According to multiple reports, the 49ers' home stadium is expected to be awarded Super Bowl 60, the second time the NFL's title game will be played there. Levi's Stadium, which hosted Super Bowl 50 in 2016, was built in 2014.
The 49ers' home stadium will also hold games during the 2026 FIFA World Cup in the summer.
A person with knowledge of the situation told USA TODAY Sports' Jarrett Bell that the Super Bowl 60 award is expected to be on next week’s agenda in the spring owners meetings in Minneapolis with Levi's Stadium the only site to be voted on. The person requested anonymity because they are not authorized to speak publicly on the matter.

"If the Bay Area has the opportunity, we would be honored to host Super Bowl LX," 49ers president Al Guido told ESPN in a statement.
The Denver Broncos beat the Carolina Panthers 24-10 in Super Bowl 50. In 1985, Stanford Stadium hosted Super Bowl 19, a 38-19 win for the 49ers against the Miami Dolphins.
