Two voting for Skibber in 139th District

On April 23rd, Pennsylvania voters in the parts of Pike and Wayne counties that make up the 139th District will have a special opportunity to elect an outstanding lifelong local resident that also has a lifetime career of professional and volunteer service to her community. Robin Schooley Skibber has garnered support for her candidacy from both sides of the aisle with her particularly effective and cooperative leadership style. Whether as president of the Blooming Grove Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary, coaching Wallenpaupack youth soccer, or getting services provided for local residents at the county, state and federal levels, Robin has a record of getting things done. Here is a chance for voters to get past the rhetoric and elect a proven leader for all our people. Please don’t let this one get away! We need experienced contributors to do what is best for the people of the 139th District and Robin Skibber is a perfect match for the job. You will never regret choosing her dedicated service for our district.

Our representatives in the PA State Legislature make decisions that are immediately consequential to the residents of the Common Wealth. For example, policies regarding districting, voting, and reproductive health care are proposed and voted for in the State House. PA has not enacted restrictive laws on voting, abortion, and IVF, as has happened in some State Legislatures because the PA State house has a Democrat majority. Currently, it is a slim majority of one.

On April 23, 2024, (also PA primary day), residents of district 139 will vote in a special election to fill a vacant seat in the State House.

Our neighbor, Robin Skibber, a life long resident of Pike County, is running as a Democrat. Robin and her husband have a long history of service to our community. She will work hard to represent us and safeguard our rights.
