Letitia Wright kept her late co-star, Chadwick Boseman, in her thoughts while attending the world premiere of Black Panther 2: Wakanda Forever.

The actress's outfit touchingly honored Boseman, who played her on-screen brother, King T'Challa, in the Marvel franchise.

She wore a sleek black suit from Alexander McQueen's spring summer 2023 pre-collection—the jacket's cutaway waist and back crystal harness reminiscent of the Givenchy Couture suit Boseman wore to the 2018 Academy Awards, which featured silver embroidered details along the lapel.

Boseman died in August 2020 after privately battling colon cancer for four years.

Shortly after his death, Wright produced a spoken-word dedication for the late actor.

"Dark clouds surrounding, confusion setting in. Tears flowing, rivers so deep. I didn’t know this is what I was waking up to: my brother, an angel on earth, departed," she said of Boseman. "A soul so beautiful, when you walked into the room, there was calm. You always moved with grace and ease. Every time I saw you, the world would be a better place."

Fellow Black Panther star Lupita Nyong'o, who plays undercover spy Nakia, T'Challa's on-screen love interest, in the movies, previously opened up about how the sequel has been reworked to honor Boseman's legacy.

"The way which [director and screenwriter Ryan Coogler] has reshaped the second movie is so respectful of the loss we've all experienced as a cast and as a world," Nyong'o said in an interview with Yahoo! Entertainment. "So it feels spiritually and emotionally correct to do this. And hopefully, what I do look forward to, is getting back together and honoring what he started with us and holding his light through it. Because he left us a lot of light that we're still going to be bathing in. I know that for sure."
