Les Beaucamps rated 'good' by Ofsted
Les Beaucamps High School has been rated "good" following an inspection by Ofsted.
The education watchdog said in its report the school had an "established a culture of positive behaviour".
It said the inspection focused on the quality of education, behaviour and attitudes, personal development and welfare, and leadership and management.
The school achieved a "good" rating in all four areas, but inspectors identified areas of improvement.
Martin Haimes, principal of Les Beaucamps High School, said: "To achieve good in all categories is a testament of [the school's] collective hard work."
The report said the school prioritised a "highly ambitious" curriculum, with pupils "behaving well in lessons and around the school site".
Teachers also received training and support and taught the curriculum effectively, Ofsted said.
'Raise expectations'
However, there were areas where the school could improve.
Inspectors said for some pupils the school "does not have high enough expectations of what they have the potential to achieve".
It said a "small minority of pupils do not engage with or learn the intended curriculum in full".
Inspectors suggested the school should "raise expectations" for this particular group of pupils and support them to achieve their best.
