Lena Dunham trolled on social media for openly fantasizing about being Hunter Biden’s wife in White House

Can’t blame a girl for her wishful thinking.

Lena Dunham has found herself at the center of social media scuttlebutt — once again.

The two-time Golden Globe Award-winning “Girls” creator and actress, whose made herself a magnet for Internet controversy, drew a mixed reaction from Twitter followers for openly fantasizing about living in marital bliss with Hunter Biden, who is a married man.

“I cannot wait to spend holidays at the White House when I am Hunter Biden’s beautiful wife,” she audaciously tweeted on Thursday.

Even though her HBO show defied convention and was sexually adventurous, Dunham’s open admiration for President Joseph R. Biden’s son didn’t quite land among her 5.3 million followers.

“Interesting brand move for you,” one of her followers replied, perhaps a nod to the dodgy relationship choices her lead character made on “Girls.”

“Well sure if there’s ever a movie version about them,” another chimed in. “But in real life, I think he’s very much taken.

Hunter, a recovering drug addict who became the subject of blistering fodder for Trumpers during the election race, didn’t escape the furor either.

“Not sure he’s exactly a desirable partner...,” one follower reacted to her comments.

“& if he’s your dream husband, your standards are WAY to (sic) low,” wrote another.

“Why even joke about this? He’s absolutely disgusting,” added another.

Biden, 50, is currently under tax investigation by the Justice Department, which is probing his finances, including some of his alleged Chinese business dealings.

The Ivy League educated lobbyist married South African filmmaker Melissa Cohen in May 2019 after his marriage to Kathleen Buhle hit the skids in 2015 and eventually ended in divorce in 2017.

In 2016, Biden reportedly began dating his late brother’s widow Hallie Biden, and also fathered a child born to Lunden Alexis Roberts during their relationship.

Dunham was previously romantically linked with Bleachers guitarist Jack Antonoff for five years.

Since she’s been in the public figure, the 34-year-old native New Yorker has courted controversy with remarks about race, abortion, sexual assault and representation.
