Last dog from rescued litter finds new home
A dog who was left looking for a new home after seeing her siblings adopted has finally found a new owner.
Jet was the only puppy from her litter not to be adopted after arriving at a rescue centre in September and although she was later selected by a family, she was returned within two days due to allergies.
But now volunteers from Wings and Paws Rescue in Wolverhampton have said Jet moved in with a new family a couple of weeks ago.
They said that Jet was "besotted" with her new family.
Jet and her five siblings were rescued from "awful living conditions", when they were about 16 weeks old.
Despite interest in the litter, Jet was not chosen and remained at the centre.
Volunteers thought she had found a home in time for the new year, but Jet was returned to the centre within days.
She was put back up for adoption and has now found her forever home, the centre said.
"Jet moved in with her new family a couple of weeks ago and she is adored by them and she is totally besotted with her new family in return," the rescue centre said.
"We're so happy we could burst, and keeping it quiet was killing us."
The centre added: "Wings and Paws never gave up on Jet, we knew the right home was out there somewhere for her, it just took a lot of patience and determination to find them... but we're so happy we did."
