Las Cruces Police investigating shooting on Princess Jeanne Drive

The Las Cruces Police Department is asking the public for information as they investigate an early morning shooting.

The incident occurred early Monday at a residence on Princess Jeanne Drive.

According to authorities, at about 3:30 a.m. on April 29 police were called to a home on the 1900 block of Princess Jeanne Drive. Officers found a 34-year-old man suffering from at least one gunshot wound. The name of the man was not released to the media. Details of the shooting are limited while officials continue their investigation. Police have not yet identified or located a suspect. Anyone with information is asked to call police at 575-526-0795. Portions of Princess Jeanne Drive were temporarily closed while the investigation continued.
