Lara Logan pushes unhinged conspiracy theories on open U.S. border being ‘Satan’s way’ of controlling world
Former “60 Minutes” reporter Lara Logan pushed the far-right wing great replacement theory during an appearance on NewsMax, where she made a string of bizarre statements including the claim that “the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world.”
The 51-year-old conservative, who was cut loose by Fox News’ streaming service late last year, made her remarks to former Fox News host Eric Bollins on his program Wednesday. By Thursday, video of the bombastic interview was trending on Twitter.
“I spoke to a man who was actually holding the documents in his hand, he told me about it,” she said. “He infiltrated the global cabal at the UN level and one of the things he was able to tell me about from his own personal experience, what he witnessed himself, was these documents that showed the plan, there is a plan... to infiltrate 100 million immigrants.”
According to far-right conspiracy theorists, there is a plan afoot to flood the United States with immigrants who would register to vote, then subvert the conservative agenda. Pundits including Fox News star Tucker Carlson have participated in advancing such rhetoric.
Logan told NewsMax “these people would dilute what they call the pool of patriots” by lowering morale in the U.S. by participating in such activities as “not singing the national anthem with pride.”
In closing, Bolling asked Logan if God is “okay with a closed border” and the South African native confirmed that was the case — and then some.

“He knows that the open border is Satan’s way of taking control of the world,” she said.
Logan bizarrely described the conspirators behind the plot she described as people who “want us eating insects, cockroaches, and that, while they dine on the blood of children.”
She insisted that “they’re not going to win.”
NewsMax is known to entertain personalities with unconventional and irrational viewpoints. The sensationalist media outlet cut ties with its White House correspondent at the end of 2021 after she tweeted that COVID vaccines contained glow-in-the-dark agents she appeared to believe could be tracked by Satan.
