Lana Condor Ghosts Us in Netflix’s “Boo, B*tch" Trailer
High school can be tough enough, but waking up one morning and realizing you’re a ghost? Now that’s a whole new level of complicated.
Enter Boo, Bitch, the new supernatural comedy series starring Lana Condor. The actress, widely known for her role as Lara Jean Covey in the To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before trilogy, plays teenage ghost Erika Vu, a high school senior who has mostly led the life of a wallflower. But in a matter of hours, everything — her reputation, her existence — changes.
“When she realizes that, over the course of one night, she’s able to alter her narrative and start living an ‘epic life,’ she jumps at the opportunity… only to wake up the next morning to learn that she’s a ‘motherf*%king ghost,’” the show description reads.

The series is set to hit Netflix on July 8, which the streamer announced on Instagram. So there’s less than one month to go!
What has the cast said about the upcoming limited series?
As the official release date for Boo, B*tch draws nearer, there are very few details about the upcoming series available. Seventeen recently caught up with Lana Condor, who stars and serves as an executive producer in the limited series, to see if we could get her to disclose any new deets.
While she didn't reveal any spoilers, Lana confirmed that she is looking forward to unveiling Erica's aesthetic. "I'm very excited for people to see it because we have an amazing hair, makeup, and wardrobe department," she told Seventeen. Lana revealed that Erica will be rocking bold patterns and "super fun" chunky heels from accessible sites like Dolls Kill. "Our hope is that this is something our viewers would try to emulate." She even dished on a pair of platforms that will feature ripped Barbie doll heads. "The entire look of my character Erica is something that people haven't really seen me in before," she teased.
Lana also gave a few brief, but very insightful hints about Erica's personality. "My character becomes the worst person ever," she explained. "She's crappy and mean." Wow. I'm super excited now. Is anybody else counting down the days until we can tune into Boo, B*tch?
How many episodes are there?
There will be eight episodes of Boo, Bitch. It’s labeled a “limited series” by Netflix, so it’s unclear whether or not there will be a season two — we’ll likely have to wait a few months after its release to hear if there will be future installments.
Who else stars in the series?
As mentioned, Lana Condor stars as the titular character, Erika Vu. Other cast members include Zoe Colletti (Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark) as Gia, Mason Versaw (Gossip Girl) as Jake C., Aparna Brielle (A.P. Bio) as Riley, Tenzing Norgay Trainor (Liv and Maddie) as Gavin, and Jason Genao (On My Block) as Devon, according to Netflix.

On June 13, Netflix blessed us with the trailer for Boo, Bitch and it's full of sass, fun, and drool-worthy 'fits. As we're introduced to Erika and her friends, we're given a side helping occult and camp. The streaming giant truly sums it up best: "Something bitchy this way comes."

Yes! Netflix revealed the first images of Boo, Bitch on Thursday, May 12. The shots show Lana and the rest of the cast in character, hanging out at school and house parties (and displaying a range of emotions!).
