Lafayette police request public's help in finding man missing since Monday

LAFAYETTE, Ind. — Lafayette police are asking for the public's help in locating Richard L. Higley II, a 37-year-old Lafayette man, who was last seen on Monday morning.

According to a news release, Higley was last seen around 9 a.m. Monday traveling north on U.S. 421 near Monon in a red 2002 Chevrolet S10 pickup truck. Higley is described as 6 feet tall and weighing 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing blue and white plaid pajama pants and a grey sweatshirt.

Detectives with the Lafayette Police Department have been attempting to locate Higley since about 11 a.m. Monday, when his family reported him as missing, according Lieutenant Justin Hartman. Anyone with information regarding Higley's whereabouts are encouraged to call 911 or the WeTip Hotline at (800)78-CRIME.
