Lady Gaga Wears Car Parts on Red Carpet

Always one to embrace innovative materials, Lady Gaga arrived at the red carpet Thursday night for the premiere of her HBO concert film, Gaga Chromatica Ball wearing... a car. Or at least part of a car.
Over a white SELVA gown lined with grommets is what appears to be the polycarbonate of a bumper, painted matte white and formed into a V-shaped automotive shawl.
The bumper is fixed to the Grammy Award-winning pop star by strands of carabiners, adding to the mechanic shop allure of the ensemble.
Gaga has been known to wear outlandish designs on the red carpet, going back to the 2010 MTV Video Music Awards when she wore a dress made out of cuts of meat. Her choice to wear a muscle car instead of, well, muscles is much less controversial.
In a post on X, Stefani Germanotta, better known as Lady Gaga, said when asked what the car parts were, "I don't know, I'm not a mechanic," which has to be one of the most unique answers to "Who are you wearing?" that a red carpet commentator has received.
If Gaga's car knowledge is lacking, she could've easily fooled us with her car collection, which according to British GQ, as of 2021, included a 1967 Shelby Mustang, a 2017 Huracan Spyder, and a 1993 Ford F-150 Lightning.
