Lady Gaga’s dog walker expected to make ‘full recovery’ from dognapping gunshot wound: report

Lady Gaga’s dog walker Ryan Fischer is on the mend after suffering a gunshot wound trying to stop armed robbers from swiping the singer’s two beloved French bulldogs.

Fischer, 39, was shot once and left to die on a Los Angeles sidewalk Wednesday night by merciless muggers who made off with the singer’s precious pets Koji and Gustav.

“Thankfully, Ryan is receiving extraordinary care in the hospital right now and his doctors expect him to make a full recovery,” Fischer’s family said in a statement obtained by Rolling Stone.

“We cannot possibly say enough to thank all of the first responders, nurses and doctors who have worked so tirelessly to care for Ryan,” the statement said.

The singer weighed in on the incident and praised Ryan in an Instagram post that featured a photo of the dogs.

“My beloved dogs Koji and Gustav were taken in Hollywood two nights ago,” Gaga wrote. “My heart is sick and I am praying my family will be whole again with an act of kindness. I will pay $500,000 for their safe return. Email KojiandGustav@gmail.com to contact us. Or, if you bought or found them unknowingly, the reward is the same. I continue to love you Ryan Fischer, you risked your life to fight for our family. You’re forever a hero.”

A police investigation remained ongoing Friday after one law enforcement source told the Daily News some hallmarks of the Hollywood holdup suggested Gaga’s dogs were targeted specifically.

Neighborhood surveillance video obtained by TMZ shows how the robbers rolled up to Fischer in a white sedan around 9:40 p.m. and unleashed the aggressive ambush-style attack with apparent precision on the dark street.

They quickly sped off after shooting Fisher once and grabbing two of Gaga’s three dogs, leaving the singer’s mostly black French bulldog named Miss Asia behind.

Gaga, 34, was “devastated” by both the attack on Fischer and the dognapping of her precious pooches, her dad and grandmother told The News on Thursday.

The Grammy winner who recently sang at President Biden’s inauguration was in Italy for a film project at the time of the terrifying assault.

In their statement, Fischer’s family thanked Gaga for her support.

“Of course, we also want to thank Lady Gaga who has shown nothing but non-stop love and concern for Ryan and our family right from the outset,” the statement said.

“Ryan loves [Gustav] and Koji as much as Lady Gaga does; so we join in her plea for their safe return,” it said.
