Lady Amelia Windsor, the granddaughter of Prince Edward, Duke of Kent, and Katharine, Duchess of Kent, stepped out in a bright pink look last night in London. At the Victoria and Albert Museum's 2023 Summer Party, the model opted for a shimmering Hellesy gown and paisley platforms by Michael Kors.
The party previewed the museum's newest exhibition,"Diva," which "explores how the role of 'diva' has been subverted or embraced over time," and features the likes of Marilyn Monroe, Maria Callas, Elton John, Cher, Rihanna, and Tina Turner. Yet, Lady Amelia didn't really lean into a "Diva" theme, instead choosing to keep her accessorizes pretty low-key, opting for a series of hoop earrings and a gold necklace. She also wore a Missoma ring, and carried a black handbag by Lulu Guinness.
"I wear lots of color, especially warm hues of pink," she told House & Garden a few years ago, proving she's an early adopter to the ever-popular Barbiecore trend—one that royals have really embraced this year.
The 27-year-old model, who lives in Notting Hill, is Prince William and Prince Harry's third cousin and 43rd in the British line of succession. Though she rarely appears with the royal family, Amelia was among the extended Windsor clan in attendance at Queen Elizabeth's funeral in September 2022.
While Lady Amelia stepped out in London, many other members of the royal family have been appearing at the Royal Ascot throughout the week, including her grandfather the Duke of Kent. Yesterday, he presented a trophy to King Charles and Queen Camilla after their horse won the King George V Stakes.
