Kylie Minogue Says Her Vegas Residency Has Been 'Like Studio 54': 'It's an Absolute Party' (Exclusive)

While speaking to PEOPLE at the Time 100 Gala held at Frederick P. Rose Hall at Lincoln Center in New York on Thursday, April 25, the "Padam Padam" singer, 55, admitted that she's pleasantly surprised by how much fun she's had performing her Las Vegas show, More Than Just a Residency, at the Voltaire venue in Venetian Resort.
"It's been amazing. It's very different too," Minogue said. "I didn't really know what to expect, but it's become, it's like Studio 54!"

Minogue told PEOPLE that her opinion, fans who have come to later versions of the show are getting a completely different experience than those who supported her at the beginning of her tenure.
"I imagine it's just kind of got wilder as time has gone by. It's an absolute party," the "Dancing" singer said, telling PEOPLE that she was heading back to Vegas the day after TIME's gala to perform the final shows of the residency.

Stars including fellow Australian Rebel Wilson as well as Sarah Michelle Gellar have come to Las Vegas to see Minogue perform.
The "Loco-motion" singer serenaded Wilson's fiancéeRamona Agruma backstage for her 40th birthday in January and posed with Geller, 47, and her friends backstage that same month.
"Vegas high!! If you can, go see @kylieminogue at @venetianvegas The theatre they built @voltairelv is amazing. It’s a major vibe. Best night with my boys and the woman I call #mother," the Buffy the Vampire Slayer actress wrote in a post about her trip on Instagram, which featured a photo with Minogue.
