Though Kylie Jenner might wear a lot of hats—mom, reality star, influencer, and beauty mogul, to name a few—she is currently embracing her inner homebody. The 25-year-old is expanding her already impressive real-estate portfolio with a whopping five-acre property in Hidden Hills, California. Oh, and did we mention that she's reportedly building this "dream mega-mansion" from the ground up?

Nestled in the Santa Monica mountain region within Los Angeles County, Hidden Hills is an upscale enclave that is home to a handful of A-List celebrities. (Madonna, Drake, and the Weeknd have all reportedly lived in the gated community.)
Perhaps the biggest draw for Jenner is that the majority of her famous family has property in Hidden Hills. She has purchased multiple properties in the neighborhood, but her latest acquisition is conveniently located next to Kris Jenner and Khloe Kardashian's respective homes. (In case you didn't get the memo, the mother-daughter duo paid a combined $37 million for neighboring houses.) The apple really doesn't fall far from the tree.
When did Kylie Jenner purchase her Hidden Hills property?
Jenner may be making headway on her dream home, but the beauty entrepreneur picked up this five-acre lot back in 2020 for a staggering $15 million.
Turns out, Jenner isn't the first celebrity to own this spacious property. According to the Dirt, Miley Cyrus bought the same lot in 2015 and used it as a ranch for her horses. In 2018, Cyrus listed the property for $5 million and sold it to an undisclosed buyer, who procured building permits and flipped it for a major profit.
When did Kylie Jenner break ground on her new Hidden Hills home?
Despite purchasing the five-acre property nearly three years ago, recent aerial shots from an Instagram account called Houses of Celebs suggests that Jenner broke ground on the project somewhat recently. Per the images, the foundation has been laid down and some walls are starting to go up. While not much is known about Jenner's construction schedule, the property reportedly comes with approved plans for an 18,000-square-foot mansion, 12-car garage, sports court, pool, guest house, and a designated area for security detail. Talk about a dream house!
Who will design Kylie Jenner's new place?
The (15) million-dollar question: What do we know about the home's interiors? Since the mega-mansion isn't even complete, not much. But if history is any indication, Jenner might tap designer Martyn Lawrence Bullard to put the finishing touches on the residence. Bullard has a long-standing relationship with Jenner's famous family, plus he even decorated one of her previous Hidden Hills homes. While we'll have to wait and see, the designer's acute knowledge of Jenner's bold, colorful style makes him a clear frontrunner.
