Kyle Richards' Daughter Farrah Legit Has Real Estate In Her Blood
The new Netflix show, Buying Beverly Hills, offers a glimpse into the lives of agents at a high-end real estate brokerage in Los Angeles, California. The show stars Mauricio Umansky, famed househusband of RHOBH star Kyle Richards (who does not appear on the show), and their daughters Farrah Aldjufrie and Alexia Umansky.
The show follows Mauricio’s brokerage, The Agency, which just so happens to be where Farrah and Alexia now work. Farrah is even credit as a co-founder in her company bio. And FYI, this brokerage has also appeared on Million Dollar Listing Los Angeles.
While poring over all the details about the new show, you might notice that Farrah, who often goes by "Farrah Brittany" on social media, has a different last name than the rest of her family… And that’s because her biological father is ~actually~ Kyle’s first husband. Kyle's three other daughters are Mauricio's biological children, but Farrah is technically his stepdaughter. So, who is Farrah’s dad and where is he now? Here’s what you need to know.
Who is Farrah’s dad?
Farrah’s biological dad is Guraish Aldjufrie who, like Mauricio, is also a real estate mogul. He currently lives and works in Bali, according to Bravo.
"My dad is the most shy, sweetest, nicest, cutest person in the world," Farrah told Bravo's The Daily Dish. "And he actually told me the other day that his friend emailed him and was like, 'Is that girl on Housewives really your ex-wife?' And he thought he was hilarious."
Kyle got married super young.
Kyle told the Juicy Scoop with Heather McDonald podcast, per Daily Dish, that she met her future husband at a Tina Turner concert when she was 18, and that a friend introduced them.
"I lied and I said I was 19 and I had braces and I was hiding my braces," she said. "And then I got scared so I had my friend come with me and then it was like a group of people and he was in the group and we became friends. He speaks good English, but he didn't when we first met. He's Indonesian, so he's Indonesian, Arab, and Dutch. He had not lived here long when he had to get up the courage with his English to ask me out on the date."
The two got married in a small ceremony and didn’t have a wedding, Kyle said. There were also rumors that he was a prince, but Kyle said his family is wealthy and he is “very much a gentleman.”
“He wasn't a prince, but he just acted like one because he was very reserved and sweet,” she said. The marriage didn't last long and they got divorced within two years, but the couple still remained very close, per Screenrant.

What does Guraish do?
Turns out, he's also a real estate mogul, doing land development and commercial real estate in Bali.
“They both get along amazingly,” Farrah told The Daily Dish, talking about her biological dad and stepdad. “They've done [real estate] deals together. My dad refers clients to Mauricio all the time. We all get together, he comes to our house for Christmas, Thanksgiving, it's all good. It’s funny 'cause I'm an only child at one house [with my dad] and then I have this huge family at this other house [with my mom and three younger sisters], so it's kind of the best of both worlds.”
Is he involved in Farrah’s life?
He is! Farrah shared a sweet tribute to her dad on Instagram for his birthday in 2020. “Happy birthday Dad. Always so caring, loving, and kind,” she wrote alongside a photo of herself with Kyle and Guraish.
“Thank you for teaching me and guiding me through life. I'm so grateful for our amazing bond. I love and miss you so so much!!! [And] I cannot wait to see you soon!!! (ps- am I not their twins?!).”
Farrah told Daily Dish that she’s “extreme close” to her dad, who was living in Bali at the time. "He comes and he stays for like a month or two at a time two or three times a year,” she said. “We just have a lunch or dinner three times or four times a week and hang out as much as we can while he's here."
What is his net worth?
There’s really no good reliable information out there about Guraish’s net worth, but it seems like he’s doing okay for himself.
Does he appear on the show?
It’s not clear if Guraish will appear on the show. However, given that it focuses more on his daughter and her stepdad, along with their real estate dealings, it’s unlikely.
