Kurt Cobain and Courtney Love's daughter Frances Bean Cobain has found love again with a fellow celebrity offspring: Riley Hawk.
TMZ reports that Frances married Tony Hawk's son earlier this month in Los Angeles. According to the tabloid, the couple wed on Oct. 7 after obtaining their marriage license in San Diego County back in September. Their marriage certificate revealed that former R.E.M. frontman Michael Stipe, Frances' godfather, officiated the nuptials.
Neither Frances nor Riley have shared any details or photos of their ceremony yet.
This is Riley's first marriage and Frances' second. She was previously married to The Eeries member Isaiah Silva from 2014 until 2016. Their divorce was finalized in 2017. Frances reportedly began dating Riley in 2021, with the news of their romance becoming public the following year.
In February 2022, the artist broke her social media hiatus with a collection of snaps looking back at 2021, which included a photo of them cuddling while on vacation. Another photo taken by Frances featured Riley cuddling with her dog Tiny Tim on Christmas, hinting that by spending the holidays together, the relationship turned serious.
"I wanted to share a few moments that were captured / created this past year that brought me a great amount of joy," she captioned the post at the time.
Riley followed in his dad's footsteps, becoming a professional skateboarder. Like Frances' parents, he's also a musician, performing as frontman of the metal band Warish. Meanwhile, Frances is currently focused on her work as a visual artist, creating abstract, colorful acrylic paintings.
