Fall has always been a busy time for Kirk Herbstreit. It’s about to get insanely busy, though.

The longtime ESPN college football analyst is officially adding NFL game analyst to his resume. Herbstreit will be calling Thursday night NFL games with Al Michaels moving forward. Amazon is reportedly paying Herbstreit something in the eight figures per year range.

Herbstreit isn’t leaving ESPN, though.

According to the New York Post, Herbstreit will continue to cover college football for ABC/ESPN – this includes doing College GameDay on Saturday mornings.

It’s about to get pretty hectic for the former Ohio State Buckeyes quarterback.

Herbstreit, who has two years remaining on his ESPN deal, will also continue on “College GameDay” and Saturday college games. The terms of Herbstreit’s Amazon contract is not yet fully known, but sources said it is for eight figures a year.

So, Herbstreit could potentially be in three cities in as many days. He’ll call an NFL game on Thursday night, be in a college football town for “GameDay” on Saturday morning and, potentially, a different town for the ABC Saturday night game.

Hopefully he got private jet use written into his contract…
