A decade ago, Kirk Herbstreit of College GameDay watched Robert Griffin III‘s magical Heisman season at Baylor. 10 years later, the two will work together at ESPN.
Griffin III is the newest member of the Worldwide Leader. He’s signed a multi-year agreement with ESPN as a college football and NFL analyst. He’ll be in the broadcast booth for a weekly college football game on ESPN or ABC and will also provide coverage for the College Football Playoff and Super Bowl.

This is a monumental step in Griffin III’s career. Many believe the former Heisman winner has a long and bright career ahead in the sports media world. Herbstreit agrees.
The College GameDay analyst and ESPN commentator is “fired up” for Griffin III to be joining the team.

ESPN’s RG3 addition is a no-brainer. He has immense playing experience both at the college and professional level. He reportedly nailed his multiple auditions, as well.
