Kiran Amegadjie is a 'freakish' player. Did the Bears draft a 'can't miss prospect'?

ESPN had nothing but good things to say about one of the Chicago Bears' draft picks.

Yale offensive tackle Kiran Amegadjie was selected by the Bears with the 75th overall pick in the third round of Friday's NFL Draft. The ESPN College Gameday crew on ABC was quick to praise the Bears for adding another rookie offensive player to a class that already includes No. 1 overall pick Caleb Williams, as well as wide receiver Rome Odunze.

"'In my opinion, I'm the most interesting man in the draft,' "Gameday host Rece Davis said, quoting Amegadjie. 'I'm a can't miss prospect.'

"He comes in with some attitude."

"He certainly does," ESPN NFL Insider Field Yates said, replying to Davis. "He might be right in terms of being one of the most interesting prospects in this class."

Yates went on to cite the 6-foot-5, 323-pounder's "freakish" length. He has 36 1/8-inch arms and an 86.5-inch wing span - the sixth-longest measurement of the players measured at the NFL combine or senior-based all-star games.

Yates said he saw "dominance consistently" from Amegadjie, who played at left tackle and right tackle at Yale.

"He has immense upside, and if given time, this could be one of the steals of the draft," Yates said, repeating an excerpt from his scouting report. "It's going to take time, though."
