Kings Island is open for the 2024 season. Camp Snoopy will be open soon.

Kings Island is currently open on weekends, but they'll be open during the week for the summer season here soon.

Here's everything you need to know.

Camp Snoopy is still under construction

The new Camp Snoopy section of the park has been under construction since the fall and there is no exact opening date yet, but according to the park's blog, it should be announced soon.

The construction has been able to stay mostly on schedule with the original plan for reopening to be late spring 2024.

There will be a new coaster as well as some design and name changes to existing rides (more on that later).

For all updates and some video sneak peaks on Camp Snoopy's construction check their blog.

Three popular rides have new names

As Kings Island continues to expand the Planet Snoopy section of the park with their new Camp Snoopy section, some of the existing rides and attractions will be getting a rebrand to fit into the new section, the park shared in a blog post.

"Race For Your Life Charlie Brown" made its Kings Island debut in 1972 and has had a few different names over the years. For the 2024 season, it is being renamed "Charlie Brown’s Rushing River Log Ride."

"Flying Ace Aerial Chase" made its debut at the park in 2001, originally as a Rugrats-themed attraction. When Camp Snoopy reopens, it will be called "Woodstock's Air Rail."

The final name change will be for "Woodstock Gliders." As part of the Camp Snoopy makeover, it will be renamed "Franklin's Flyers."

There will be new food available during the 2024 season

There will be a new counter service restaurant located in Camp Snoopy called "Pigpen's Mess Hall" that will have kid- and family-friendly menu options.

Other dining options throughout King's Island have also been renovated.

The video below details all the updates to the food in the park for the 2024 season, directly from Kings Island Executive Chef Joseph Perez.
