The Kingdom Hearts Series Is Very Cheap On PC Right Now

The Epic Games Store is somewhat maligned among certain groups of PC gamers, but one thing that it does very well is its sales and free content giveaways. And at the end of every year, Epic does one big blowout sale, alongside a huge amount of giveaways over the month of December. This year, the entire Kingdom Hearts series has seen a deep discount on PC.

Right now, all four Kingdom Hearts titles – 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue, Kingdom Hearts 3 + Re Mind, and Melody of Memory – which between them contain over half a dozen playable games and almost as many games-turned-movies, are available on PC on the Epic Games Store for 60% off.

For most of these games, that brings the price down to $23.99, down from $59.99, except for 1.5+2.5 ReMIX, which is $19.99 compared to the usual price of $49.99. There is a way to get these games for even cheaper, though, with the 33% off voucher Epic Games is offering with every purchase or free game redemption.

Essentially, you can redeem the free game Epic is offering – at the time of writing, that’s Destiny 2: Legacy Collection – and then get a 33% off voucher. You can then use that 33% off voucher to buy a game… which gives you another 33% off voucher to spend on your next purchase. It’s a vicious cycle of savings.

Because of that, you can get the three normally $60 Kingdom Hearts games for $16.07 a piece, and 1.5+2.5 ReMIX for just $13.40 — an absurdly low price for some of the best games ever made.

If you do pick these games up you can, if you wish, play through the Kingdom Hearts series in chronological order — though we’d probably recommend against it unless you’re really keen on it. On the upside, you can also mod Kingdom Hearts on PC, and there are heaps of amazing Kingdom Hearts PC mods to explore.

Epic Games’ holiday sale lasts until January 10, so there’s plenty of time to get in.
