King Charles Is Now the Proud Owner of a Nude Beach

Today in pivots we never expected King Charles to make, he's now the proud owner of a nude beach. Truly not sure what's better, this, or owning a vast collection of diamonds and priceless art. Either way, he's living!

The nude beach in question is at Fraisthorpe, East Yorkshire, where naked bathing was allowed until an extremely un-chill ban in 1994. But apparently now the beach's lease has been returned to the Crown Estate (obviously owned by King Charles), and The Sun reports that "guidance on behalf of the King" said nudity is "not expressly permitted" but also is "not prohibited."

Or, as the outlet poetically put it, "The King has lifted a ban on nudists exhibiting their orbs and sceptres on one of his beaches."

Amazing, though at this point we should probably point out that Charles' personal beach vibe is full suit and tie:

The Sun also spoke to several beachgoers (sorry, "naked ramblers") one of whom mused that "Sensible people like King Charles realize there’s nothing wrong with simple public nudity. There should never have been a ban in the first place because doggers and naturists are not one and the same.”

Wow, just going to repeat this sentence again for posterity: "Sensible people like King Charles realize there’s nothing wrong with simple public nudity."

Anyway, another fan of nude sunbathing added that “True naturists are a sensible lot who take a pragmatic approach to situations. We are always mindful of potentially upsetting others.”

Am truly loving King Charles' nude beach era! More of this and less of kicking innocent old ladies out of their homes, please!
