When it comes to Kim Kardashian more is—and always will be—more. An ensemble can never have too many crystals, a Birkin can never be too big, and there isn’t a single outfit that can’t benefit from an ultra-luxurious fur coat. And with the look she just revealed, she proved there is also no such thing as too many layers.

The Skims founder took to Instagram to reminisce about Paris Fashion Week, which took place a mere two weeks ago. In her slideshow, she included snaps of gorgeous bouquets of pink roses in elegant white vases, the flakiest French pastries and milky coffee, and of course, some fashion highlights from the trip.

One photo in particular caught our attention: The fifth slide shows Kardashian decked out in layers upon layers of tops. She took Y2K dressing to the max in a transparent, lace-lined black camisole layered atop a cheetah-print iteration layered atop a snow-white iteration adorned with a bow layered atop a black lace sleeveless shirt layered atop a gray mock-neck T-shirt layered atop a black lace T-shirt layered over a final piece, a dark-gray long-sleeved shirt.

If you thought the layers were complete, you’ll be surprised to learn she paired the many shirts with white leggings that she wore under black lace thigh-high socks, all tucked into tall two-tone black boots with a stiletto heel and pointed-toe design that displayed a large gold B for Balenciaga. She finished off the ensemble with one black lace glove and a large black leather purse that featured a huge keychain full of dazzling red, pink, green, and silver heart charms, another keychain with silver and gold pendants, and a sparkling chain across the front reading “KIM” in bedazzled letters. Kardashian kept her glam soft, dewy, and natural and styled her hair in a neat, slicked-back bun.

In another image, the reality TV star dons a super long dark-gray wool overcoat over what appear to be transparent black stockings and nothing else. She holds the outerwear closed in the front while posing in the same makeup and updo in a regal-looking room. The cover photo captures Kardashian close up wearing a grand chocolate-brown fur coat with the most dramatic collar and lapels, layered over nothing but transparent black stockings once again. In this pic, she wears a light pinky-nude lip and fluttery eyelashes, which peek behind her oversize black shades.

Kardashian showed her support for Balenciaga again at the fashion house’s Fall/Winter 2024–25 show during the twice-yearly seven-day fashion showcase earlier this month. For the event, she embodied romance in a black lace gown that featured a scoop neckline with transparent lace overlaid on top that culminated in a mock neckline, a figure-hugging construction, see-through long sleeves with flowy cuffs, a band of ruffled fabric along the torso to emphasize her tightly cinched waist, a draping skirt that trailed behind her as she walked, and a completely open-back design. She opted for sultry, smoky makeup and a high, voluminous pony.
