Kim Kardashian 'Has Her Eye on' Someone New
Kim Kardashian may have a summer romance brewing. Us Weekly reports that the single reality star has a new love interest. “Kim isn’t officially dating anybody, but there is somebody who she’s interested in,” the source said. “So far, there have only been subtle flirtations between them, but they haven’t gone out yet.”
The source gave no indication who this person is, but did note that Kardashian is “interested in pursuing things” with them. “[She] wants to keep it under the radar [for now],” the source added.
“She’s not ready to be seen out on a date with anybody for the time being because she doesn’t want to make it a big deal,” the source elaborated. “She knows once she’s seen on a date then things get blown out of proportion quickly, but there is somebody special she has her eye on so she’s excited about where things could go.”
Us’ update comes after Entertainment Tonight reported on Kardashian’s approach to dating earlier this month. On May 19, a source told that outlet that “Kim is feeling great, and she is ready, open, and excited about dating in general and the potential of finding a forever partner one day.”
Kardashian’s last public relationship was with Pete Davidson. In the season premiere of The Kardashians, which aired earlier this month, she spoke about why they ended things in August after nine months of dating.
She said, via Entertainment Tonight, “We just had talks and talks, we’d been talking about it. So it’s just like both of us just communicating really well about it. It’s obviously sad when you...nine months. It’s like a long time. I don’t have random hookups and relationships.”
She admitted that she felt “a lot of guilt” while dating Davidson because “he went through a lot because of my relationship.” Her remark alludes to her ex-husband Kanye West’s very public harassment of Davidson, which led Davidson to reportedly seek trauma therapy.
