Kickoff time, TV channel set for Clemson vs. Boston College football game
The ACC has announced a kickoff time and TV channel for No. 5 Clemson’s road game at Boston College next Saturday.
The Tigers will play the Eagles at either 7:30 p.m. on ABC or 8 p.m. on ACC Network, the conference announced Monday. The game time and TV designation to be decided after the games of Oct. 1, the ACC said
Clemson-Boston College will feature two ACC programs on very different trajectories. The Tigers are 4-0 and ranked No. 5 in the country headed into this weekend’s home game against No. 10 N.C. State, which will draw ESPN’s College GameDay program to campus and occupy ABC’s Saturday night primetime slot.
Boston College, meanwhile, is 1-3 headed into a home game against Louisville this Saturday. The Eagles’ only win this year is against FCS program Maine, and they lost 44-14 at Florida State last weekend.
Clemson has won 11 straight games against Boston College and leads the all-time series 20-9-2. The last two matchups between ACC Atlantic Division foes have been close, though: Clemson won 34-28 in 2020 and 19-13 in 2021.
In last season’s game at Memorial Stadium, BC drove down to Clemson’s 11-yard line with 49 seconds left before defensive end KJ Henry dove on a bad snap to secure a Tigers victory.
