Wake Forest quarterback Sam Hartman (10) sets up to pass the ball against Clemson safety Jalyn Phillips (25) during the second half of an NCAA college football game, Saturday, Nov. 20, 2021, in Clemson, S.C.

Clemson has a kickoff time for its first ranked opponent of the season.

The No. 5 Tigers will play No. 19 Wake Forest at noon on Sept. 24 in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, the ACC announced Monday. The game will be televised by ABC.

Clemson leads the all-time series against conference foe Wake Forest 69-17-1 and has won 13 straight against the Demon Deacons. Clemson has also won six straight road games at Truist Field within that streak.

The Tigers (2-0, 1-0 ACC) host Louisiana Tech in a night game this week after cruising past Georgia Tech and Furman, while Wake Forest (2-0, 0-0 ACC) hosts Liberty after picking up a Week 2 road win against Vanderbilt of the SEC.
