Kicker Nick Folk re-signs with Tennessee Titans | Report

Nick Folk is reportedly returning to the Tennessee Titans in 2024.

Folk is getting a 1-year deal worth a maximum of $4.13 million, NFL Network reported Wednesday.

It is a sensible move for the Titans. The 39-year-old was 29-of-30 kicking field goals for the Titans last season, a 96% clip that led the NFL. That number includes a 5-of-6 mark from 50 yards or longer, with a long kick of 53 yards. He also was 28-of-30 on PATs. Folk was brought on late in the preseason after Tennessee tried some cheaper, younger options to little success.

General manager Ran Carthon has now re-signed Folk and five-time Pro Bowl long-snapper Morgan Cox, locking down what could be the best kicking battery in the NFL. Folk, the league's most accurate kicker in 2023, Cox, a well-established long-snapper, and punter Ryan Stonehouse, who led the NFL in punting average for a second straight year, will handle the kicking game for the Titans in 2024.

The 2024 season will mark the 17th in the NFL for Folk, who has also kicked for the Cowboys, Jets, Buccaneers and Patriots.
