Key Club members recognized for service

The Sturgis Kiwanis Club recently honored the 2023-24 Sturgis High School Key Club members for their outstanding contributions throughout the year.

Cynthia Correa, Cindy Gonzalez, Vanessa Bucio, Lisette Munoz, Katelyn Brott, Rodrigo Urbina, Kevin Gonzalez, Jacqueline Flores, Julietta Sandoval, Nghi Ngo, Addison Sutter and Miley Holden, Kiwanis officials said in a statement, “participated and volunteered to help at 20 different events this school year that helped out 13 local organizations.”

Each student received a recognition plaque from Kiwanis and was provided a buffet lunch. The students are pictured with Kiwanis President Aaron Miller. Key Club is a student run organization at Sturgis High School that is sponsored by the Sturgis Noon Kiwanis Club. The Sturgis student chapter has 83 members.
