Kevin Costner made a rare red carpet appearance with five of his seven children this weekend at the Cannes Film Festival. The Costner crew attended the Cannes screening of the Yellowstone star's upcoming film, Horizon: An American Saga – Chapter 1.

Kevin's daughters Grace, 13, Annie, 40 and Lily, 37, were in attendance as well as his sons Hayes, 15, and Cayden, 17. His two other children (that's seven in total!), Joe, 36, and Liam, 26, didn't make the trip.

Costner shares his youngest three children, Grace, Cayden, and Hayes, with his most recent wife Christine Baumgartner. Kevin and Christine officially split in 2023. Annie, Lily, and Joe belong to Kevin's first wife Cindy Silva, and Liam is Costner's only child with Bridget Rooney.

Kevin's five children in attendance sat front row for the Horizon screening, which received a 10-minute standing ovation from the crowd. In his post-screening speech, Kevin highlighted his special guests, saying: "I'll never forget this," he said. "They all look so beautiful, dressed up so nice, the women. The men, they're so handsome."

The Costner men stepped out in matching black suits and bow ties, while the ladies stunned in elegant dresses. The family snapped a few photos sporting matching sunglasses on the carpet.

Costner's son Hayes makes his acting debut in the film, which premieres in theaters June 28. Hayes was even named after Kevin's character in the saga. The film series, which is Kevin's long-time passion project, has been in the works since before 15-year-old Hayes Costner's birth.

Although Horizon: An American Saga received a lengthy standing ovation, which is generally a good sign, critic reviews have been less kind. Critics hurled insults, calling the film the "dullest cinematic vanity project of the century" and "three saddle-sore hours," among other things.

As Horizon's release day nears, we're still excited and anxious to see the project the Dances With Wolves star has poured so much passion, energy, and money into. June 28 can't come soon enough!
