Kentucky football picks up commitment from four-star cornerback from Alabama

Kentucky football’s sluggish start to the 2023 recruiting season received a much-needed booster shot Wednesday.

Avery “Chaos” Stuart, a four-star cornerback from Montgomery, Ala., announced his commitment to the Wildcats, choosing UK over Florida State and Auburn.

Stuart is ranked as the No. 196 overall prospect for the class of 2023 by Rivals and No. 197 by 247Sports. He is ranked as the 26th-best cornerback nationally by Rivals. Stuart is 6-foot-2, 175 pounds and plays for Alabama Christian Academy.

The commitment softens the blow of losing four-star South Warren defensive back Cristian Conyer to Tennessee on Sunday.

Stuart is Kentucky’s ninth commitment for the class of 2023.
