Kendall Jenner is soaking up the sun, tequila bottle in hand.

The model and reality star, 26, took to Instagram on Friday to share a revealing poolside photo of herself without a bathing suit top on. Sporting bright blue bikini bottoms and covering her bare chest with her arm, Jenner looked backwards over her shoulder toward the sparkling swimming pool. In her right hand she held a bottle of 818 Tequila, her liquor brand she is promoting at Coachella this weekend.

"@drink818 by the pool," the model captioned the photo.

In the second photo of the slideshow, a trio of pool cushions that read "818" can be seen floating in the pool. That's followed by a series of additional photos promoting the tequila brand, including a shot of a mini-bottle in Jenner's hand and an Airstream trailer that's emblazoned with the phrase "come again soon."

Jenner's racy post, which received over 7 million likes, received plenty of feedback from followers. Her sister Khloe Kardashian commented with "I see you!!!!!" Other friends and followers left messages such as "Jealousy 10/10" and "Yes please."

Jenner has faced significant criticism for her tequila brand. Last year, she was called out for "cosplaying" Mexican women in a campaign for the brand in which she could be seen wearing braids, riding a horse and drinking tequila in an agave field. "Cause nothing screams authentic Mexican tequila more than Kendall Jenner wearing braids," Jackie Mayorga, a content creator and Latinx activist, pointed out on social media.

That followed extensive claims of cultural appropriation, especially since the brand is named 818 after Jenner's hometown of Calabasas, Calif. On the internet, people began to criticize the name, calling it "gentrification" since tequila is a traditional Mexican beverage.

In the past, Jenner has admitted being under the watchful eye of the public has led to difficulties with her mental health. In an interview with Vice’s i-D in February, she admitted she deals with anxiety and depression, and has suffered from panic attacks since she was a child. In order to manage these tough moments, she said she has taken up journaling.

“I used to be really angry,” Jenner shared. “I mean, you can literally find old videos of me screaming at the paparazzi for no reason, but also for a very obvious reason. I’m just a lot more at peace with things now. It’s hard to explain… it’s just something that you learn to live with, I guess.”
