Doreen Alderman
Grammer first became a father in 1983 with the birth of his daughter Spencer Grammer, now 40, whom he shares with his first wife, Doreen Alderman. He and Alderman were married for about eight years, from 1982 to 1990.
Barrie Buckner
In 1992, Grammer had a second child, daughter Greer Grammer with his then-girlfriend Barrie Buckner.

Grammer’s most famous ex is Camille Grammer, star of Real Housewives of Beverly Hills. They were married from 1997 to 2011 and have two children together, Mason and Jude Grammer, who were born via surrogate in 2001 and 2004, respectively.

Two weeks after his divorce from Camille was finalized, Grammer married his current wife, Kayte Walsh, in early 2011. They’ve since welcomed three children together: Faith, Gabriel and James Grammer.
Do Kelsey and Camille get along?
Grammer's split from the Real Housewives star was less than amicable (he married a woman 25 years his junior two weeks after their divorce was finalized, after all). At one point shortly after their split, Camille claimed that her ex forbid their kids from mentioning her by name in his home. “These poor kids, my daughter and my son, can’t say my name in their father’s house,” she said.
She also shared that she was only able to contact Grammer through lawyers. “It’s very difficult to co-parent with somebody that won’t speak to you, text you or email you,” she said. “I’ve reached out to him. I think it’s very important to be amicable to raise children, and he refuses to. There’s just so much I can do at this point.”
While it's impossible to say what the exes' relationship is like behind closed doors today, they've certainly butted heads in recent years, too, including once in November 2019, when Grammer shared some harsh words on In Depth with Graham Bensinger.
“Honestly, I don’t really talk about her very much, because so much of her life is spent talking about me and I just think it’s sort of pathetic,” he said. “A month after I had a heart attack, my mother died—12 years ago now—the day of my mother’s funeral, my third wife basically had an explosion about something.”
Kelsey then claimed the RHOBH star asked for a divorce on the day of his mom's funeral.
“And she started telling me, ‘I’m out of this, I’m out of here. I want a divorce, blah, blah, blah,' which, we’d had the same conversation for eight years, and it was tiresome. I realized at that moment that I was done with her, that I was not going to end up in this relationship for much longer. And somewhere under a year [later], I was done.”
In response, Camille tweeted, "This is not true. My parents were with us in the Hamptons when we received the news about his moms [sic] passing. We consoled him and flew back to LA to make arrangements for her funeral. It’s unfortunate that he is rewriting history.”

Did Kelsey Grammer get custody of his kids with Camille?
After their contentious divorce, Camille was granted primary physical custody of their two children, Mason and Jude. The kids lived primarily with their mother in California and visited their father.

Spencer Grammer, 40, is an actress best known for her roles in Greek and Rick and Morty. She made her television debut at age 9 alongside her dad on Cheers.
"He has been great about me being an actress," Spencer has said about her father. "He always tells me to follow my heart and to do things for the right reasons."
At the end of 2022, Spencer and Kelsey starred in a Lifetime holiday movie together, The 12 Days of Christmas Eve. Spencer posted about it on Instagram, writing, “I love you, Dad. Thanks for sharing the love of making movies with me!”
Spencer has one son, Emmett, whom she shares with ex-husband James Hesketh.
Greer Grammer (b. Feb. 15, 1992)
Next up is Greer, 31, who also inherited the family talent for acting and has enjoyed success with roles in Awkward and Deadly Illusions.
Last year, Greer visited the Cheers bar in Boston—a clear homage to her dad—and posted a pic to Instagram, writing, “Walked in and nobody knew my name and I’m pretty sure that’s what they call ‘false advertisement.’”

Mason Grammer, on the cusp of turning 22, is Kelsey's daughter with ex-wife Camille. She's done some modeling and walked in New York Fashion Week at the age of 15.
Mason has been candid about the impact her parents' separation had on her as a kid, telling Genlux Magazine, "It was the most challenging period I've ever faced. I underwent significant personal growth in the aftermath, as I had to assume greater responsibilities at a young age."
She went on to share that her dad "wasn't around, so I didn't see him much" but added that they now have a more open and communicative relationship, where they can discuss "anything and everything."

According to his mom, Jude Grammer, 19, aspires to become an actor like his dad. But at the moment he seems to be enjoying a more low-key life than the other adults in his family, as is his right!
Faith Grammer (b. July 13, 2012)
Faith Grammer, 11, is Kelsey's daughter with wife Kayte. They named their brewery, Faith American Brewery, after her.
In a 2018 interview with The Guardian, Grammer raved about being a later-in-life father. "Honestly, the beauty of being an older dad is you get a chance to kinda try it again," he said. "That's been a real gift."
