Kelly Ripa Posts Extremely Rare Pregnancy Throwback—and We Can't Stop Staring at Mark Consuelos's Hair

Kelly Ripa is taking fans down memory lane with the ultimate flashback post, featuring an unborn Lola and Mark Consuelos with a very different haircut.

In honor of Easter weekend, the Live with Kelly and Mark co-host (53) shared a throwback photo of herself while pregnant with her daughter. Donning a pair of colorful slacks and a black top, the proud mom smiles as she holds an egg and leans against her husband, who looks so much like his son, Michael, with his early aughts shag cut.

Ripa captioned the post, "Easter circa 2001. (Lola wasn’t quite hatched yet, hence the ONLY reason for these slacks.)"

Fans in the comments were quick to call out the uncanny resemblance between young Mark and his eldest son. One follower said, "Mark and Michael look exactly alike here. Love this picture." Another wrote, "You look so cute, pregnant Kelly. I can’t believe how much Michael looks like Mark."

During the early 2000s, the Riverdale alum may have rocked longer tresses, but now, he opts for a sleek undercut with much shorter hair.

Aside from his go-to short haircut, fans have also gotten a glimpse of the actor when he rocked a buzzcut in 2020.

In an episode of Live with Kelly and Ryan, Ripa opened up about how Mark was dealing with the new 'do. She told Ryan Seacrest, "Mark shaved his head the other day, and now he's cold all the time."

In response, Seacrest suggested that Consuelos's hair change wasn't that dramatic, given that he "didn't have that much hair to begin with." But Ripa explained, "No, he always has a lot of hair. His hair's pretty thick. It's silky but it's thick…it's got a sheen to it."

Moral of the story? Consuelos can rock almost any hairstyle.
