Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos definitely won in the category for "most Halloween costumes" this year!
The couple, who are also cohosts of Live With Kelly and Mark, linked up to showcase 50—yes, you read that right—different themed outfits in honor of the spooky fall holiday.
For the broadcast, the spouses transformed into a myriad of looks, channeling everyone (and everything) from Hollywood and the NFL's hottest new couple, Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce, to Sonny Bono and Cher, and beyond.
Capitalizing on several pop culture crazes from the past year, they kicked off the costume collection with Barbie, continuing to spotlight other major moments that have kept people talking, by appearing in pre-taped sketches of White Lotus, where Ripa starred as Jennifer Coolidge, and a Vanderpump Rules Scandoval parody, with Ripa wearing a blonde bob to portray Ariana Madix, and Consuelos playing Tom Sandoval with a fake mustache.
The pair even took inspiration from The Golden Bachelor, featuring a cameo from the reality show's star, himself, Gerry Turner.
Among other things they tackled, the duo also appeared as Lucille Ball and Desi Arnaz from iconic sitcom I Love Lucy, Demi Moore and Patrick Swayze in the famous pottery scene from 1990 film Ghost, and more.
Several videos and photos from the lively annual episode were shared on Instagram leading up to its airing, with viewers campaigning for their favorite part of the program.
"The Golden Bachelor was the best 👏👏👏👏," one said, while another, instead, voted, "The Tom Ariana Mustache one was my favorite."
Another viewer simply insisted this year was "Your Best Ever 🔥🔥🔥," likely referring to Kelly, as 2023 is the first time Mark participated in the festivities since becoming a cohost upon Ryan Seacrest's exit in April after six seasons.
