Kelly Clarkson's Latest Kellyoke Cover Leaves Fans With 'Instant Chills'

Kelly Clarkson

Just when fans thought she couldn't possibly top her previous Kellyoke covers, Kelly Clarkson proves them all wrong.

The talk show host and powerhouse vocalist took on a Katy Perry hit for her latest Kellyoke segment on The Kelly Clarkson Show, and fans are still awestruck by her ability to make the song her own.

Putting her own spin on Perry's "Wide Awake," Clarkson delivered a hauntingly beautiful vocal performance to further prove that she really can sing anything—as if we didn't already know that.

"Good gosh she makes a sad song sadder and a good song better," one of her followers wrote under an Instagram clip of the performance shared to the Kelly Clarkson Show's page.

"Girl could sing the phone book, so she could 😮 Beautiful! 👏," another fan gushed.

"Instant chills!! 😳" one fan added, while someone else made note of the slowed-down piano version of Perry's song, calling it "Quite the arrangement."

The latest cover from the American Idol winner, 41, once again had her followers begging her to put out another Kellyoke album after her first one dropped in 2022—but it only consisted of six songs, to the dismay of many fans.

"It’s definitely time for another Kellyoke album with A LOT more songs on it, there are like 50+ that should be on it!" one comment read, referring to all of the stunning performances Clarkson has given since her last cover album came out.

"When are we gonna get all these covers on Spotify?" another fan implored, while someone else begged for "Kellyoke Vol 2!"
