Kelly Clarkson Wore a Football Jersey Dress to Host the 12th Annual NFL Honors
Kelly Clarkson wore two bold sports-themed looks to host the 12th Annual NFL Honors in Phoenix, Arizona, ahead of Sunday's Super Bowl LVII.
On Thursday, the "Stronger" singer arrived at the event—held at the city's Symphony Hall—wearing a dramatic black velvet Adidas x Gucci gown with long sleeves and an even longer train that flowed onto the red carpet. The piece featured the activewear brand's iconic three stripes, in white, down the sleeves. The star accessorized with mirrored chandelier earrings and a couple of silver rings. As for glam, she kept things classic, opting for a sleek, straight hairdo, a smoky eye, and a rosy glossy lip.
Later into the evening, Clarkson got into the Super Bowl spirit in a vibrant blue-and-white Dallas Cowboys jersey-inspired gown. She took the stage in the sporty dress, which had a silver "88" emblazoned on the bodice (in honor of wide receiver Drew Pearson), as well as the last names of four other team players, including running back Ezekiel Elliott and tight end Dalton Schultz.
Clarkson is the first female to host the awards show. Past hosts include Keegan-Michael Key, Steve Harvey, and Alec Baldwin.
Super Bowl LVII will take place this Sunday, February 12, at State Farm Stadium in Glendale, Arizona. The teams competing are the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
And equally, if not more importantly, Rihanna will make her highly anticipated musical comeback at halftime with a big performance.
