The new season sees the Grammy winner’s show moving from the Universal lot in Los Angeles to NBC Studios at 30 Rockefeller Plaza in New York. The talk show will film in front of a studio audience in Studio 6A, which has formerly been home to Jimmy Fallon, Conan O’Brien and David Letterman.

“I’m so excited to start our fifth season at the iconic 30 Rock,” Clarkson said in a statement on Wednesday. “There is such a unique energy and creative spirit that comes with filming in New York City. Y’all ready?”

The move east follows the expansion of New York’s Film Tax Credit, which provides an incentive to eligible television productions that relocate to the state. Eligibility requirements for talk and variety shows were also reduced from five years of filming to two, making the big change that much more enticing.

The series — which has been renewed through its sixth season, taking the show through at least 2025 — joins other New York-based daytime talk shows including Sherri, Tamron Hall, The Drew Barrymore Show (which has yet to set a Season 4 premiere date), The View and Live With Kelly and Mark.
