Katy Perry Probably Regrets Asking Fans for ‘Thoughts, Comments, Concerns’ About Her Haircut

Katy Perry got a little more than she bargained for when she asked her fans for their "thoughts, comments, concerns?" on her new haircut.

The American Idol judge shot a selfie-style video as her stylist, Jesus Guerrero, trimmed her lengthy locks to a stylishly messy bob above her shoulders. She jokingly asked him for his Instagram handle so all of her fans, dubbed KatyCats, could let them know what they thought—but fans were quick to make their opinions known in the comments.

Perry kicked off her Witness era with a similar video, showing off a new blond crop before launching the "questionable" and "insufferable" period in her life surrounding her fourth studio album, and fans were quick to make connections, with one blatantly stating, "we don't need another witness era..."

"You really can’t control yourself can you?" another asked. "Someone needs to keep the scissors away from your head. We don’t want Witness 2.0."

"Don’t get carried away girl," someone else said.

Just a couple of hours later, Perry uploaded several photos of the new 'do, including another video where she sipped on a can of Coke through a straw to address her fans' "strong feelings" about the haircut.

"Let's see that energy for KP6," she demanded, addressing her next studio album, before revealing that it was just a wig that had everyone wigging out.

But plenty of fans had love for the look, too, with one declaring, "We stan no matter the haircut queen."

"This wig is gorgeous!!" another asserted.

Even Lisa Rinna had something to say, writing, "I love love love your haircut❤️."
