Katy Perry Embraces ’00s Fashion With Black Bodysuit and Ultra Low-Rise Baggy Jeans

Katy Perry

Katy Perry rose to fame in the '00s with hits like "I Kissed a Girl" and "Hot n Cold." So it only makes sense that she would embrace iconic fashion pieces inspired by that era of her life. And recently, the American Idol judge rocked some ultra low-rise baggy jeans at Coachella.

On Sunday, April 14, Perry attended the annual music festival in Indio, Calif. The singer, 39, was photographed on her way to watch Doja Cat perform, and her outfit certainly caught folks' attention.

Perry paired a high-legged black bodysuit with low-rise jeans in photos obtained by the Daily Mail. To complete the look, she wore a cropped leather jacket and accessorized with a pair of rectangular sunglasses and a Balenciaga crossbody bag.

In other recent Perry fashion news, the "Dark Horse" songstress recently rocked another iconic outfit, which she showcased on her Instagram grid. She wore a black dress with a chain-link-like pattern on it and accented with oversized silver pom-poms. Finishing off the look, Perry wore bright magenta lipstick and oversized silver drop earrings.

In the video itself, Perry wrote in overlaid text, "Being asked random questions on the way to set." The American Idol judge was then asked the question: Are you a hunter or a gatherer? She paused for several beats, attempting to figure out how to approach the query, before blurting out the name of actress Hunter Schafer. In the caption, Perry wrote, "Random questions get you random answers #idol."

Many fans would agree that Perry should never change—whether it is her sense of humor or fashion. And we would definitely agree!
