Katie Holmes Looks Like She Stepped Out of the ’70s in These Classic Bell-Bottoms

Katie Holmes just put a vintage twist on her timeless street style.
The Dawson’s Creek alum took ’70s style for a spin for her latest outing in New York City on Friday. Ever the minimalist, Holmes updated her typical tee-and-jeans outfit combo by adding a pair of classic denim bell-bottoms.
This particular pair of bell-bottoms featured a faded blue wash and a flattering high-rise design, which she cinched in at the waist with an earthy brown leather belt.
She kept the rest of her outfit fairly simple by punctuating it with various black elements, including a black T-shirt, black leather flats, a black leather shoulder bag, and black shades. Meanwhile, her long brown hair cascaded well past her shoulders, with the Rare Objects director styling her locks in an effortless half-up-half-down ‘do.
Holmes previously opened up about her no-fuss approach to dressing up during an interview with Harper’s Bazaar back in 2022.
“We live in a world where we have a premiere and you want to look nice, and it turns into being a fashion person,” the actor explained at the time. “And I’m like, ‘Well, I just like to look nice, I’m not really a fashion person.’ We all just want to look good.”
When it comes to curating her off-duty wardrobe, she added, “I love my vintage T-shirts. They’re so yummy. They’re a little dirty, a little stained or whatever, and that’s me.”
